Heads Up is a campaign launched by The FA and Heads Together charity, with the goal of changing the conversation around mental health. We wanted people to recognise that their mental health is just as important as their physical health and use the football world’s obsession with staying physically fit to motivate fans to take their mental health more seriously.

HRH The Duke of Cambridge and England manager, Gareth Southgate, featured in our emotive launch film outlining the Heads Up manifesto. The film also includes Lionesses’ legend Kelly Smith, members of Barnet Walking Football Team and the founders of FC Not Alone, Matt Legg and Ian McKenzie.

“Let’s change the conversation around mental health.”
