TAKES MORE THAN JUAN
Common Goal is about the collective effort to tackle some of the greatest social challenges of our time. It’s a charity that gets professional footballers to pledge 1% of their salaries to a collective fund, which is then allocated to social development projects around the world.
The campaign launched with a film shot in Mumbai, starring its founding ambassador, Juan Mata. Within the first year, nearly 70 footballers signed up from six different continents, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars. And to this day, footballers around the world continue to donate 1% of the salary to Common Goal, every single month.
