AMAZON BRINGS THE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
To promote Prime Video’s coverage of the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 season in the UK, Germany and Italy, we produced a multi-channel campaign centred on top-tier footballing entertainment being delivered directly to peoples’ homes.
The work sees Phil Foden and Virgil Van Dijk bursting from Amazon Prime boxes into the homes of two young football fans. Overcome with excitement, the kids spend an unforgettable day with their football heroes, making tent forts, playing pretend concerts, dressing up as superheroes and holding the ultimate tea party. Each ad, directed by Glenn Kitson and produced by Iconoclast, ends with the pairs watching the big match side by side.
The campaign also includes shorter 15-second TV spots, where members of Prime Video’s star-studded broadcast team, including Alan Shearer & Gabby Logan, emerge from an Amazon Prime box in the home of a fan as they sit down to watch the football. Static executions follow suit, with photography by Shamil Tanna.
HARRY’S FIRST CHRISTMAS OFF
In the first free Christmas of his entire professional career, Harry Kane battled the Bundesliga winter-break blues by filling his new-found free time with some festive cheer.
To promote Prime Video’s Premier League coverage on Boxing Day, we followed Harry as he tries everything possible to fill the void, before eventually realising, it’s just not Christmas without football.
The campaign ran across social media in the leadup up to Christmas.
