NISSAN – DESIGN IN MOTION

In order to further establish Nissan’s reputation as a manufacturer of advanced, performing and exciting electric vehicles, we were briefed to create a unique stunt to show off the smooth acceleration and speed control of the Nissan ARIYA in all it’s glory.

Working with the Nissan Formula E team, the stunt was created on a race circuit, where animation frames were mounted to the perimeter of the track. The ARIYA was then turned into a video camera capturing the animated frames while driving in a straight line at a top speed. The result was a monumental technical achievement, the first time an animation has been made using a car – thanks to the smooth acceleration of the ARIYA and the technological innovation of the Nissan Formula E Team.
